mjhtsch2007 asked: For years we have struggled with bats in our house. We have spent money for a professional pest control company to come in and the bats where back the next year. The final straw now is the smell that is coming from our back bathroom, we think it is from the bats. Please help us!

mom_of_ndm asked: I have termintes on the patio, and a section of the roof where there is a leak. I had like 4 quotes from 4 pest control people. They all give me different solutions… one wants to tent, one says orange oil, another with hot temperature or something… so WHAT is the proper way to treat termites???

InspectorM asked: This is somewhat of a statistical question. Termite pressure varies around the country, so if you could include the state/region. Most homes in high pressure areas are treated during construction, but there are many questions about the quality of those treatments among the pest control industry’s leaders.

gerlindebarria asked: Help please. Have tried Stickies, old fashioned snap traps with peanut butter, chocolate. Nothing works. Pest control did not solve the problem. For several weeks I have been trying to get them out of the house. No food is available to them. Have not seen one or caught one yet. Bought “Riddex pest repelling aid” - probably does not work either.
Find mouse **** all over. It is disgusting. Hope somebody can help.
Thank you.

george3 asked: There’s animal ***** underneath our house and the pest control sprayed something on top of it to help it decompose faster but it still smells.
My question is this: the pest control people are now talking about “ground cover” and I can’t get a clear answer about what they mean. Are they talking about putting more stuff on top of it? Is it that difficult to have someone go under the house and actually rake it out? Thanks.

Sai R asked: I am planning to buy a nice house in Redmond Ridge (Greater Seattle area). During the inspection, the inspector found mice activity in the crawl space under the house. I am afraid this can get out of control and destroy the ducting and the crawl space insulation and that the mice can potentially enter into the house itself. My realtor says it is a common problem and can be put under control by using regular pest control.
Is there anyone who can say it is a common problem in Seattle area? Please answer ASAP. I need to make my decision soon.
